Requirements
To participate in an au pair exchange program, the following conditions apply:
Host family consists of 2 or more people that are registered at the municipality
The au pair is registered and living on the same address as the host family
There is a nice extra room with a bed, cupboard, internet and heating
An agreed day schedule with max 30 hours per week, max 8 hours per day and min 2 days free for the au pairs. The au pair has 2 weekends free in a month
Income requirement of 1,5 times the legal minimum wage in The Netherlands for 1 year.
Gives free food and lodging and takes au pair in as part of the family.
Au pair receives pocket money (max. legal amount) of €340 per month + €10 prepaid
Has a housekeeper. The au pair may assist with light household tasks
Mandatory TBC test for the au pair.
Has an extra bicycle available for the au pair.
Takes part in a cultural exchange programme.
